Deep Roots Festival is a community celebration that increases our connection to local foods and the farmers and growers who make them in the Lake Agassiz Region.
Locally-Sourced Meal
THE MENU:
- Swedish Meatballs (bison/oat or pork/wild rice) with brown sauce and mashed root vegetables, or vegetarian served with mashed/mixed herbed potatoes and rutabaga
- Salad with local mixed greens and local vegetables, croutons, ranch or french dressing on the side
- Buttered sweet corn
- Dinner rolls from local baker
- Maple blondies or Chocolate brownies (GF option available)
- Iced tea or rhubarb tea
