Welcome to the East Central Chapter
The East Central Chapter of the Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) is committed to advancing SFA's mission. Our emphasis is on building a farmer network to share knowledge that furthers sustainable farming practices and financial sustainability for our farmers. We believe in connecting the community to local farmers and food options through chapter meetings, farm tours, education and networking sessions.
Our chapter is made up of farmers and consumers in the general area of Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Ramsey, Sherburne and Washington counties, the southern portion of Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine counties and northeast Hennepin County. Membership is not restricted to these counties; East Central Chapter welcomes all who find our mission compelling.

As the harvest season wraps up and we prepare for winter’s slower rhythm, the East Central Chapter SFA invites you to come together for connection, conversation, and good food. Whether you’re a long-time SFA member or simply curious about what we do, you are warmly welcome to join us!
We’ll share stories from the 2025 season—its victories, challenges, and lessons learned—and open the floor for ideas on how our chapter can best support farmers/members in 2026. Your experiences and insights are vital as we shape the year ahead.
Taco Bar Potluck: Bring a favorite taco ingredient to share! The potluck will begin at 11:00 AM.
All food brought to the event must ready to eat with no onsite preparation. These products are homemade and not subject to state inspection.
Registration: It is free to attend. Registration requested, walkups welcome.
