Do you want to help our native forests and woodlands thrive long into the future? Are you interested in growing climate smart tree seedlings?
The Climate Smart Seedling Production Network’s goal is to enhance the resiliency and health of our forests and woodlands through diverse genetics sourced from broad-ranging native tree populations throughout southern and central Minnesota and planting these tree seedlings 200+ miles north of their collection region.
If you (or someone you know) may be interested in learning about what it means to become a climate smart tree seedling grower, join this informational presentation! Stefan Meyer, CSSPN Co-Lead, will be presenting on climate smart tree seedling production as a potential enterprise for small-scale and emerging farmers. The webinar will dive deeper into the production, enterprise model and overarching program support.
It is free to participate. This event will be held virtually on Zoom. Click here to register.
*Another webinar with the same content will be hosted on Saturday, January 25 from 11-12:00 PM.
