Deep Roots Festival is a community celebration that increases our connection to local foods and the farmers and growers who make them in the Lake Agassiz Region.

A look back at the 2024 Festival Schedule

Local Foods Tours | 12:00- 2:45 | Open to ticket holders only.
Join us for some great local foods tours before the Festival even starts! We are happy to be showcasing local food businesses and farms on this year's line-up.
We ask that you only attend these events if you have purchased or intend to purchase your ticket to the festival. Tour times are set, so please do not show up outside of specific start times,

Tours are "Choose Your Own Adventure" this year.  There is no bus, you must provide your own transportation. Please arrive at the tour locations on time as tours begin and end promptly at their designated times.

Meet the New MANNA  11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Be sure to stop by event sponsor, MANNA Co-Op's new location for a tour! The co-op is expanding in a big way to the old Ace Hardware building on the corner of Washington and Veteran's.
This expansion will include a commercially licensed kitchen available for local producers to step up their production game. Stop on by and chat with Ryan Pesch, Co-Op treasurer to check it out.

Silver Dust Farm
Meet Ken and Dori Larson at their organic, sixty-cow dairy farm in Ottertail. Silver Dust Farm is a local producer for Organic Valley Cooperative.
Grassroots
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the incredibly popular local greenhouse that specializes in apple trees and an eclectic mix of offerings.
Deep Winter Greenhouse
Join our host, John Salman at Slow Cycle Farm for an in-depth tour of the innovative Deep Winter Greenhouse design.
