MN River Chapter Social + Sowing Seeds Event Planning Night

Join the Minnesota River Chapter for a social on Tuesday evening June 11th at the Mankato Brewery to socialize and cover a few planning tasks for the our upcoming event, Sowing Seeds: Celebrating Local Foods & Lost Skills, which will take place on Sunday, July 14th. The coordinators of the event (Brooke Knisley, Mary Fischer) will cover a number of items concerning the event’s success, including farmer’s market vendors, volunteers, etc.

Brooke and Mary will be at the meeting to recruit volunteers for the day of the event. It would be great to highlight some of the chapter’s own farmers for the market – please consider becoming a vendor and filling out an application or come to the meeting with questions.

The event was highly successful last year, drawing in nearly 200 people! We are excited to see what this year will bring with added vendors, demonstrations, kids’ activities and more.

The chapter will provide pizza to those in attendance.
