You're invited to a 3-hour workshop to learn more about Precision Profitability Mapping Program developed by SDSU and it's benefits. The workshop will be led by Kim Melton of the Red River Basin Commission and Anthony Bly, SDSU Soil Health Field Specialist and Every Acre Counts program co-director.
The goal of the profitability mapping analysis is to enhance your operation’s profitability, biodiversity and ecological health by providing you with data to inform your decision-making about best use of every acre of your farm. During the workshop you'll take a deep dive into how the program works, including requirements and a timeline, and the potential benefits of participation. You'll also meet a farmer who has participated in the program and received a report, using the data to make changes in the use of his farm's marginal acres.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions, and lunch following the workshop is free. Event check-in begins at 9:30 AM.
Registration: This event is free to attend. Registration requested, walkups welcome.
