Urban Farm Tour

See two impressive producers in the middle of Duluth!

Ted Johnson and Angie Krick have Blue Forest Plants which specializes in fruit, nut, and perennials for the northern climate. Their backyard farm is an established permaculture paradise where they grow and propagate a huge variety of plants.

Ben Cogger runs Observation Hill Farm. We will see his small-scale high density orchard and vineyard, apiary, market garden, tomato and cucumber greenhouse production, and maple and birch syrup operation.

4:00- Drive to Observation Hill Farm
4:30- Observation Hill Farm tour (driveway across the road from 217 E Orange St.)
