Farm Manager

The Boreal Farm is hiring a Farm Manager, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves growing food in the North.

Located just outside Duluth, we farm in the Boreal forest. We grow Certified Organic vegetables, flowers, herbs, and native plants for a returning and expanding CSA and farmstand.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Northern grower who is as comfortable planning crops as leading work in the field; someone who enjoys building resilient systems, leading a small crew well, and strengthening a farm for the long term..

We’re entering a new phase:
• Expanding CSA production
• Strengthening high tunnel systems
• Investing in season extension (includes a solar-powered root cellar)
• Building infrastructure that supports long-term financial strength

Compensation: $52,000–56,000 salaried
Healthcare stipend + 26 days PTO (includes paid winter break)
Compensation growth as the farm grows

We’re looking for someone who wants to help grow and guide the work here, alongside the land, the team, and the long arc of a Northern farm.
