Lake Superior Chapter Annual Membership Meeting

Venue Change: Please note that this meeting will be held at Duluth Township Hall.

The Lake Superior Chapter of SFA will conduct an annual business meeting with 2024 budget approval, board member elections, and review 2023 activities. This meeting is free to attend. Registration requested, walkups are welcome.

Lunch will be provided, made with locally sourced ingredients and prepared by current board members. From 1:00-3:00 PM, enjoy presentations from members of our community:

• David Abazs, RSDP: Farmer opportunities with the Farm and Forest Growers Cooperative;  Food Scrap composting on Farms, and the current and future biochar research on farms.
• Troy Salzer, UMN Extension:  Assessment of NE MN soils and strategies to deal with nutrient needs.
• Mallor Forseth, Minnesota Grown: Discussion about renewing the Superior Grown logo.
