Celebrate the beginning of spring with fellow gardeners and growers in the Metro! The Twin Cities Metro Growers Network and MN SEED Project invite you to join us and:

  • Connect with peers
  • Share your ideas and goals for the growing season
  • Learn more about local resources for growers
  • Swap seeds and stories

We’ll bring the food, you buy the drinks.

Bring your collected seeds with you — plants native to Minnesota, annual flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. for trading, swapping and giving. MN Seed will have seeds available as well, and seed packing materials will be provided. Click here to see Seed Sharing Guidelines prepared by MN SEED. Seeds are for everyone; you do not have to bring seeds to take seeds home.

Registration: This event is free to attend. Advance registration is appreciated for catering purposes!

 

The Twin Cities Metro Growers Network is a collaboration between SFA and the University of Minnesota Extension in Hennepin County.

This event is funded through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture AGRI Urban Agriculture grant and a Twin Cities Urban Agriculture microgrant from Renewing the Countryside and FSA/USDA.

SFA staff and volunteers occasionally take photos during our workshops, cafe chats and field days for promotional purposes and to use as documentation of events to share with our funders.  If you do not wish to be photographed, please let our event host know — we’ll make every effort to make sure you are not photographed.
