Join the Crow Wing River Basin Forage Council for a fall pasture walk on the Borman Farm. Cory and Pam Borman operate a grass based cow calf operation near Backus. We will be looking at rotational grazing in wooded pastures (silvopasture), and strategic feeding to control woody brush and improve pasture productivity.

Tyler Carlson, Silvopasture and Agroforestry Lead with the Sustainable Farming Association, will be joining us to discuss silvopasture benefits and challenges.

This event is free to attend. Registration is requested, walkups are welcome.
