Join SFA and MNGLCA for the Forage Council’s first Pasture Walk of the 2026 season!
Keith Olsen of Circle K Ranch near Canby, MN has been making sweeping changes on the family farm in order to create a profitable, low-input ranch in SW MN. Grazing 60 pairs across 300 acres of perennial pasture, Keith has converted cropland to pasture, utilized annual crops, and implemented bale grazing to have the cattle in the lot for only three weeks this past winter. Come join us on the Lac qui Parle River to see how good grazing, planning, and low inputs can work for you.
Registration: This event is free to attend. Advance registration requested, walkups welcome.
Location: Circle K Ranch. Go .5 mile west, then south on 15th Ave from 1545 Co Rd 19, Canby, MN 56220
