6/24 Update: Due to the loss of a family member, the Lee and Tasha Wood pasture walk this Thursday, June 26th, is canceled. We will be working to reschedule a tour to the Wood farm at a later date. Please keep Lee and Tasha in your thoughts and prayers.

Join the Crow Wing River Basin Forage Council for a tour of Lee and Tasha Wood’s farm. Lee and Tasha run 50 cow/calf pairs on approximately 500 acres. They are both new to sustainable agriculture and continue to learn practices and techniques. Their focus is on minimal tillage using a no till drill, winter bale grazing, and high density rotational grazing to focus on building soil health.
Registration: Free admission. Registration requested, walkups welcome
